How products enter a guide
We start with a reader situation, then build a coherent comparison set from current official manufacturer pages and support material. A product must do a distinct job, have a working official destination, and present a trade-off worth explaining.
Evidence labels
“Manufacturer research” means we reviewed current first-party material. “Editorial analysis” means we compared fit, use case, friction, and limitations from that material. “Hands-on tested” will appear only if a named contributor has actually used the product under a documented method. Current launch guides do not claim hands-on testing.
Rankings and claims
We do not invent performance scores, audience numbers, lab results, prices, discounts, or partnership status. Manufacturer claims are attributed in the surrounding copy. Volatile pricing is omitted until a maintained verification workflow exists.
Commercial independence
Affiliate eligibility does not guarantee placement. Commission rate does not determine the order of recommendations. Sponsored placements, if accepted later, will be labeled separately from editorial picks.
Updates and corrections
Important product facts and image sources are recorded in an internal source inventory. We update or remove a recommendation when its model identity, destination, or central claims can no longer be verified.
